Capsule Geology

The Rou 2 area is underlain by Devonian sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the Stikine Assemblage. Chlorite schist contains pyrite and chalcopyrite. The hostrock is strongly quartz-carbonate altered zone. Talc is observed. In 1990, the Rou 1 and 2 claims were prospected by Kestrel Ltd who collected 54 rock samples. Assays yielded negligible values.
